wow at f22 i expecting to see a real deep depth of field ( ie , everything in focus) , were you standing away from the object and zooming in?

@YourADrag Yeah. haha I know. I don't own a 7D so I've only been able to tinker with the ones at local shops. None of the modes seemed to be able to change the aperture

how do you get the whole background to blur instead of the left hand side. do you set the AF. ?

a truer representation would have been if you set the focus to infinity. in the video you have focused on the object in the forground.

@SeanFilms there is a dial at the right of the screen for the aperture (1d, 5d, 7d, 60d).
and there is a small dial at the top of the camera for the shutter.
you can adjust them while you are recording.
