  • a truer representation would have been if you set the focus to infinity. in the video you have focused on the object in the forground.

  • @SeanFilms there is a dial at the right of the screen for the aperture (1d, 5d, 7d, 60d).

and there is a small dial at the top of the camera for the shutter.

you can adjust them while you are recording.

  • What song is playing? It's lovely.

  • @SeanFilms Set manual mode, flick over to movie mode, press record :)

  • wow at f22 i expecting to see a real deep depth of field ( ie , everything in focus) , were you standing away from the object and zooming in?

  • @YourADrag Yeah. haha I know. I don't own a 7D so I've only been able to tinker with the ones at local shops. None of the modes seemed to be able to change the aperture

  • @SeanFilms really?....

  • I would like to know how you're adjusting the aperture as you film

  • how do you get the whole background to blur instead of the left hand side. do you set the AF. ?
