Rama Walkthrough Part 1

Part 1 of my Walkthrough to the 1996 Sierra Adventure game "Rama".

This is the main menu, introduction, and hub camp. The hub camp is not made OF humans.

This game is based on Arthur C. Clark and Gentry Lee's Rama series. Arthur himself makes an appearance in this prolog as well as when you die ingame, and when you finish the game.

Doesn't really capture the essence of Rama does it? Guides? Rama was about mystery.

@Jammsbro1 That is true, but it is also interesting to compare what you think is ging on with others, or to confirm what you thought the answer was.

Still the point of this guide was to give it all away, TLancer's gameplay videos don't do that. Its really up to you how you want to experiance the game. Though playing it would probobly be best.

Nice first part. Glad to see others interested in the game/series of books. Though for your second part, perhaps you could try to reduce the hiss form your mic and increase the game volume a touch. Noticed you also have the audio crackles as I often did in the game. Strange that...

And the reason for the lights coming on is explained in the books. Whole lot of details in those, defiantly worth reading. ;)

I've read the books, but I'm not giving spoilers. Also, there isn't a day/night cycle going on in the game, so I think the reason may have changed. When I get to London, I'll offer my speculation.

I would love to play this again. The ex-wife took it from me almost eight years ago! Now, it's so hard to find without spending a life savings.
