haha theres a trend here... I tore my ACL playing soccer also!! In a few days I'll be 6 weeks post op and I hit all the max marks for physical therapy for the first 8 weeks out of surgery about 3 weeks early and I still have 2 weeks before I can really be pushed more as far as motion for bending (I'm @ 125 no problem) And since I want to return to sports I started looking at knee braces and the top of the line (DonJoy) is about $900 for a custom fit so I'm going to start saving now. LOL i tore my acl playing soccer too but i havent got my surgery yet.. and i was just wondering... how long does it take to get back in soccer?or any physical contact sports?

what kind of knee brace will you be getting if you havent already? i dislocated my knee again playing football and dont know what to get :S

hey, i tore my acl and the miniscus ligament playing soccer too lol! did it last year, ended up having 2 ops, one to find the problem and 1 to fix the problem, how boring is, cant do anything at all. my knee still hasnt healed properly cant straighten it properly which sux. so how's it all workin for ya, u said that the first 1 failed, how exactly did it fail???
