  • I would think that the polystyrene has anchors in it so when the concrete is poured it acts like rebar... but that's just a guess. I'm wondering why another material other than concrete isn't used, I'm looking at SIP's rather than poured concrete.

  • good point, I can't figure it out either. the interior wall is solid block, I wonder how it is attached to the polystyrene?

  • So you don''t need studs and you just drywall on top of it? Where the hell does the electrical and plumbing run through??? On top of the drywall????

    it looks like any other home inside in and out i have drywall on the inside vinyle siding on the out

    it saves me money on energy bills its almost sound proof and can withstand a tornado
