homemade go kart

I built this go-kart in about 6 weeks from a combination of parts including: a salvaged snowblower, a department store pants rack, a metal sawhorse and a mix of parts from TSC.

Tecumseh 4.5 Hp form the 70's

Two questions: What snowblower did that engine/gearbox come from, and did you still use the rubber wheel friction drive from the original gearbox transmission?

that combo was from an old 70's white snowblower probably sold by Sears with a Tecumseh 4.5hp. No that shat is useless for gokarts.

needs a body pan or else when your foot slips off it will break it or even decapitate your ankle

it dont need a air filter because its winter theres no dust

say i got a lawnmower engin mounted on my chassis how do i get the pos to work with a pedal so i can control the speed and it wont just go unless i step on the pedal
