The Truman Doctrine inaguarated the new grand plan of US foreign policy that would enable all economies to open up and become available to US economic expansionism.

When this wouldn't be possible the americans did everything possible to take control of the given country; the dictatorship in greece and chile, military intervention in vietnam are just a few of the examples of the methods applied to establish 'Pax Americana'

@daanio0 Are you saying that the Americans tried to "save" the Vietnamese from communism as well? Think. why would a country spend millions of dollars on another one? For their own benefit. They did not try to save the people from communism. They wanted them to become capitalist to create a greater market.

Truman sounds like he has brought Europe right back where it started before WWII, fighting the Communists. Great move, removing MacArthur, if he was so concerned about Communism. Like it or not, Hitler's attack on the murdering Communist Stalin's Russia was the only thing that prevented his complete Communist take over of Europe by a matter of weeks. Zionist Truman's only goal is to create an illegitimate state of Israel against the warnings of the British and US State Dept. Ended any peace.
