  • @jonoessex Look dude. I'm Irish. I'm also Protestant. People don't judge me by that because I'm not full of shit trying to say I'm English. Hate to break it to the people in the north but YOU CANT BE FUCKING ENGLISH IN IRELAND!!! ITS BLOODY IMPOSSIBLE!!! just like I can't decide I'm gonna be American in Germany!! I don't know how you can think the English murdering millions of innocent Irish men, women and children is ok. I don't think discrimination is ok and I'd like Ireland to be united once

  • Why the hell where those bastards doing that to innocent Irish people? That wasn't a war, that was murder.

  • okay to all who want to know the song in the end....it's called "on cat's feet"

thump this up so we don't need to have more people asking for it

  • what is the music at 9:52 called?

  • @29lisamh It didn't quite happen in the way shown in the movie. It was still an atrocity, but it wasn't that the British just mowed people down otherwise being peaceful and not moving. Rather, the British had been sent to search for enemy members in the crowd and when some ran at their approach they over-reacted by opening fire by assuming those fleeing were guilty and trying to escape. What happened was wrong, but it wasn't just mindless revenge, but a tense situation handled (very) badly.

  • @pmalone4 He's a stand-in for all those who were found and killed. In short, as is common screenwriting practice, he was merged with a number of other historical people to make a single easy-to-understand character within the movie.

  • And the black n tans were English prisoners, right?

  • They raped Irish women murdered and slaughtered men and children.Bastards.

  • @29lisamh it was actually the black n tans

  • Broy wasn't killed in real life. He survived well past the Irish Civil War and the IRC never found him out. He lived well into the 1970s. Wonder why the film said he was captured and killed.

  • @IL0veAllTimeLow thats my opinion,i think that the whole religion thing was created by english propaganda, prodestant or catholic, were all christian. the real struggle is ireland for people born on that island aka irish
