Anybody know how I can record my xbox with this? I can get it to go through the HVR to the tv to play and record. I tried running it through a dvd player but it didnt work

OK iM probably 6 years out of date, I run an s cable from my vid player or dvd or sat box into win tv usb ..... prob 6 years old.... I get movie maker up and from there I can make vid clips

there must be a better way .. new software Im wondering, could I avoid my sat box altogether and put the sat cable straight into the win tv box ?
