When you start using the honey, do you consume the rose petals as well?

What a precious child! Did you notice how happy he got when he licked the honey off of his fingers after putting the cap back on? Very nice post; a smart idea to use the mirror. I'm looking forward to trying this. b/b)O(

If an area doesnt have wild rose, can you use regular roses, also, can you use regular honey from the grocery store?

very neat! I've got some seeds of these roses just no room to plant in our yard.. Maybe this year I'll find a place in nature that would enjoy their company. You have any advice of plants they would get along with? As I've never seen wild roses in nature and I wouldn't want to bug the habitat. It says to plant them in fall or start in pots in early spring.
Yes LoriE you can use any honey. Although regular cultivated ornamental roses do not have the same medicines, and in fact could be harmful if used. Rosaregosa (the wild rose) is best, but rock rose is good to.

Yes plant in the fall or even spread seed on the snow in late winter. They like to grow any place that golden rod and fire weed like. Lots of direct sun light. Wild rose seed around here is very hardy and takes off easy.
