Homemade trail groomer, made from 7 bed frames 2.5 road signs, and about $20 worth of nuts and bolts. Almost everything on this groomer was acquired by freecycleing.
Since the filming of this video I have tripled the size of the compactor pan, which has GREATLY IMPROVED EFFICIENCY!

  • do you have drawings??

  • @eidem95 I did have multiple drawings, I don't know where I put them. Stay tuned, I have made some updates to the drag. This winter I will make another vid about this drag with better video quality. If I can find my drawings I'll post them in the video.

  • Man thats great! No one is gonna follow your tracks thats for sure!

  • really nice drag

  • A groomer like that would be an upgrade from the cheap ones I use.

  • Great job

your neighbours should be buying you fuel for your efforts

  • Great Job! Solid proof that a drag does not have to be heaviy to do a good job. Have you tried pulling it with a snowmobile yet? I think the added traction of a track would allow you to adjust it to cut deeper and do an even better job. Watch ebay for a good deal on an electric actuator to replace your hand crank. Being able to control the depth of cut while seated can make grooming a more pleasant experience. Not criticizing at all, just food for thought. Once again, an excellent design.
