  • A Direct Injection VTEC engine would be much nicer than VVT. I'll wait for the Honda version.

  • @ale03000 You might see only 500cc displacements in the future.

  • with race fuel and this will get 15 with pump gas! yay!

  • that truck is going into our 7200 class off road race truck :) 15 mpg with pump gas and 370 horesepower plus insane durability, duh! the kroyer built 4.5 may have almost 500 horses but the damn things are grenades with the pin pulled and they blow out every like 400 miles and when your driving well over 1000 miles each season and dont have the 40 thousand dollars for each motor, needing about 3 motors each year, go with ecoboost! thank you so much ford! not to mention the kroyer only gets 2 mpg

  • I like the idea of EcoBoost, but I'll stick with my V8 thank you :)

  • @motzy77 Holy crap nice spelling!

  • I dunno. It sounds to me like a built in turbo type charger inside the motor. To me, that means more wear and tear and less durable over the long run. I can just imagine, 7 years from now, people saying 'damn motor needs to be rebuilt' Only time will tell if I am right or wrong.

  • @bmays002 oh yea, my carbed chevy 512 gets 1-2MPG less than ecoboost......

  • All Ecoboost engine with over 1,000L/100km

  • i have driven an ecoboost powered ford vehicle and for the size of the motor it has a whole lot of balls very fast
