@TurbinePower69 nah man thinkin closer to 2800 even if it were makin 1230 hp w/ race gas (which on a 456 cubic inch engine is insane, btw) it would still max out at 2800 hp (100% nitro power = regular horsepower x 2.3) I also find that more often than not the top fuel funny cars/ dragsters are incorrectly quoted at 8000 HP, when it should (based on the mathematics) work out to approx. 7200. Max allowed overdrive, and 90% nitro.

Good Grief People !!!..Lets get this Straight..This is a Naturally Aspirated A / Fuel Dragster (No-Blower !!)..which is allowed to compete in TAD with the BLOWN (Supercharged) Alky motored diggers ONLY (NOT in BB/FC)!! The A / Fuel
motors generally develope the same amount of output as Blown Alcohol..3500 to
4000hp if well tuned...though to get into the 5's in these "cars" generally takes 4000+hp.

@corvette335 Your thinking of top fuel, this is a A fuel car, its not blown and they run around 3500-4000hp with Nitro. Your allowed to run a A fuel car in the top alcohol class.

The calculated Power output of these engines is most likely somewhere between 8500 and 10,000 horsepower (approximately 4500-6000 kilowatts), with a torque output of 8135 N·m (approx. 6000 lbf·ft)

its makin around 2800 to 3200 hp, it is injected nitro, same power can be made out of a psi blower on top of a 540. and topalchoholfanaic, u must not kno shit, that a top alchhol dragster

You can run injected nitro or supercharged alcohol in Top Alcohol category.
