Beginning at Grand Junction, CO and traveling east on Interstate 70 through the rugged mountains of Western Colorado. Plus, as a special bonus; road construction in Glenwood Canyon.
Time lapse drive at up to 1800 MPH

Awesome video. But 40 mph?!? How did you have the patience to drive that slow? I couldn't do that if you paid me.

Great video - thanks for posting. I visited from Australia and did most of that drive leat year over about 4 days. You have some of the most beautuful scenery in all of America. I took 2,000 pictures but the video still gives great memories ;-)

You might like my video too. /JlA_LXV_zZI?hd=1 It was 2 days from Indianapolis to Denver. No cool mountains, but the sunset the first day was pretty cool. I'm moving to Vail this winter, so hopefully I will get some awesome mountain time lapses. Do you use a GoPro?

I have to drive this 4-6 times a year. definately need some awesome music and weed on the drive or else it'll take forever.

Yea, I know I was driving slow. I was pulling a 8000 lb trailer, and found that If I drove 70-75 mph I got 11 MPG, but if I drove 60-65 mph I got 19 mpg. I saved over $100 per day on this trip by driving 10 mph slower than usual. The timelapse makes it look worse that it was, the trucks were only driving 3-5 mph faster than me.
