Honestly, they look the same as acrylics to me. Might as well save the money (and the time!) and just get acrylics instead of gels.

Sure you can use acrylics, but they smell awful and when you own a busy salon, you don't spend time on mixing and it is much faster. Plus acrylic liquid is extremely flammable, gels are not.

@gelnailsonline I found out I was allergic to acrylics so it's nice to have this option.

@blackdragondmd it takes about an hour and a half 2 hours max it depends how well trained is your nail tech an what you are doing and when doing nails you are working like 5 nails at one time

i doing nails 8 years,and that nails are very thick. if you apply the acrylic well,your nails last longer than gel.and acrylic is more stronger

Actually UV gel nails last way longer and look more like a natural nail than acrylic nails.
