Just a snap thought that went through my head while watching a TED talk. The more we understand of the body and overall biology the closer we get to being able to design ourselves. And as an actual intelligent designer I believe we can do a much better job of it then any imaginary designer. We will see what actual intelligent design can be!
Kwabena Boahen: Making a computer that works like the brain
http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/kwabena_boahen_on_a_computer_that_works_li...
I am computer scientist and this new chip that works like our brain is just a fraction of the complexity of our brains. The idea is to extrat the logical algorithms that our brain uses to cope with everyday tasks like image recogniton but it will not be able to represent feelings, and decison making in some sense. We will not be able to uderstend how our brain exacly work for very long time, we can just use a fraction of it. But even this fracion has huge potential.

wouldn't the "perfect" creation be able to create something much more perfect than its self? proof there is no god, and if there ever was one, he is dead and he has become a dated technology.

I watched the TED Talk.
10 the power 16 processing power of Blue Gene and the Human Brain. Blue Gene's power consumption half a megawatt, Human Brains power consumption 10 watts. So there's some intelligent design in there somewhere.

Creating the world an its inhabitants was God's pet project.
The trouble is the pets went feral!

not only that if god had given us wings there would be no need for cars or planes.

robots will be scary better, stronger , faster, near indestructable by normal means.
as for our design...having our sex parts be our digestive parts is kinda unsantiary, you'd think god would know that.
