shiners centrifuge the beginning

I am building a centrifuge for my bio diesel set-up
This could take me a while to do as I usually have several jobs on the go at once so don't expect it to happen over night, I thought I would throw the idea out there and see what happens.

hi there how are / did you fill all the holes in the spinner drum

and how well did it work with oil

I did not fill the holes it would of been to difficult to balance, I found a plastic bag worked well and made cleaning a breeze

It worked OK but it did not remove the smaller particles due to its fairly slow speed, its OK to use as a primary filter

The top tends to go out of balance and needs supporting

Yeah that looks like it's going to be awesome. What is that tub you're using from?

It came from a Hitachi twin tub but any clothes spinner will do

hey bud,, great stuff,,i am going to make one of these myself,, for used engine oil,, to run my diesel car,,, the one your,e building looks like a good idea,, love to see it when it is finished,,cheers,,,,
