I am building a centrifuge for my bio diesel set-up
This could take me a while to do as I usually have several jobs on the go at once so don't expect it to happen over night, I thought I would throw the idea out there and see what happens.

  • hi there how are / did you fill all the holes in the spinner drum

and how well did it work with oil

    thanks

  • @captaindestructo1234

I did not fill the holes it would of been to difficult to balance, I found a plastic bag worked well and made cleaning a breeze

It worked OK but it did not remove the smaller particles due to its fairly slow speed, its OK to use as a primary filter

The top tends to go out of balance and needs supporting

  • Yeah that looks like it's going to be awesome. What is that tub you're using from?

  • It came from a Hitachi twin tub but any clothes spinner will do
