Yes. We are called to take up the cross and follow Jesus.  That means we will suffer for Christ sake. It might not be the same way but we will suffer through persecution.

so do you honestly believe you can practice these name it and claim it 'get rich' teachings in places like China, Middle East, Africa, and other 3rd world nations?

Don't be putting words in my mouth I never said name it and claim it. That's where people get misinterpreted. I believe God wants to bless his people. Psalms 1-3. We have to be obedient to God and His Word. Completely and fully.

Preachers like Copeland and Creflo Dollar, etc. do teach "name it and claim it".

I have never heard them preach name it and claim it. Grant it I haven't watched them all the time. But I am referring to what the Bible says.

1Cor2two, by any chance do you go to the same church NotYourTypicalNegro and Ringo4life go to to? I know you know those guys. They're all on youtube doing the same thing you call yourself doing. In which let me remind you," THAT GOD IS NOT PLEASED." I beg you to please stop doing what your doing. It's not of GOD ! Whatever church or whatever peacher who has hurt you, forgive them and let it go! Believe and trust God he loves you. And i'm praying for you.

Soon all these "churches" are going to have to open up their books to the IRS or they will get into the affairs of business too much and down they go. They will lose that tax-exempt status and people will see what really is going on. What is going on? These super churches are nothing but money making operations and the preachers are the pimps of these congregations. And that is how the house of cards come tumbling down!

I can't count the number of Christians who belive the expression "God helps those who help themselves" is in the Bible.

that is a swaggart alright, thats donnie swahhart son of jimmy, and donnie is more on target than jimmy.. jimmy studies a lot of theology, donnie studies the bible.. yes part of prosperity is health and a deeper spirituality, but the greed gospel preached by ppl like creflo dollar, joyce meyer, ken copeland is pure heresy. creflo denies the deity of Christ, copeland thinks anyone coulda done what Jesus did, and meyers and copeland have the other jesus paul warned about in 2 cor. 11:4, gal. 1:8-9
