I went running on a field with two dogs and a canon xh-a1 attached to a steadicam pilot. You can see when I run as fast as I can when the video jumps a bit as my feet hit ground.

  • While walking or running moderately fast the image is quite stable but it is not possible to limit bumps when simply running as fast as possible.. Solution would have been running slower but I didnt want to do that.

  • Now thats what Steadicam is designed for!! :-D Put on a fast piece of dance music and it goes really well :)

  • One of the things you can do to eliminate some of the "feet hitting the ground" bumps is to imagine your wearing a harness around your waist and when you run you cant move your waist up or down. This forces you to roll you feet and "sit back" on your stance and walk smoother. This is what clarinet players do in a marching band so their reed doesn't jam into the roof of their mouth. (Trust me...it hurts) haha

  • lol so amazing _)))

  • Pretty cool videoing it looks like a helicopter ride!
