He supports socialist aims and goals. He supports social medicine, social welfare (welfare and social security retirement/disability), government controlled economics, and many others. While calling him a socialist might imply more than I intend, it is more accurate to describe his political ideology as socialist rather than democratic or liberal.
As far as obscuring and preventing intelligent dialogue, calling my viewpoints "Horseshit" and "insane" do more to prove that you are not interested in intelligent dialogue or problem-solving, than the contrary opinion that I am an opponent of those goals. I do agree he was a bad candidate.
There are problems with increased states rights, but I believe that the problems of a powerful federal government are more dire than those of a weak federal government.
McCain is a fascist. I'm sorry if your command of the English language does not allow you to infer the correct word from a misspelling. The primaries determine the candidates for various offices, including the presidency, but not the platform of the party.
Look here at wikipedia's description of Primary election: "A primary election (nominating primary), also referred to simply as a primary, is an election in which voters in a jurisdiction select candidates for a subsequent election."
McCain is not a fascist. That's insane. Fascism is a totalitarian nationalist ideology that seeks to form a highly-centralized autocratic, single-party government of a country led by a dictator, and seeks large-scale regimentation of society, the economy, and military. McCain has never supported anything like that. He's was not a good candidate and did not deserve to win, but he's not a fascist. Horseshit like that obscures and prevents intelligent diagolue and problem-solving.
Yes, he is. McCain "seeks to form a single-party government of a country led by a dictator, and seeks large-scale regimentation of society, the economy, and military." Look at the $800Bil bailout. Look at the wars in Iraq/Afghanistan and watch for the one starting in Iran. McCain is in favor of a number of provisions to curtail our individual rights. Look at the NAU and National ID. These support a fascist goal.
Hitler was a fascist before taking power. he achieved that power through fear. Fascism is the idea of state-first over the individual. McCain believes that the greatness of the state takes precedence over individual liberty. That is a form of fascism. Also, a great myth is to believe that Stalin was not fascist. Fascism can exist no matter what the economic system. Oh, and like I have said many times before, you are an idiot.
