While mine is not as pretty as mil-spec the basic process is the same. If I had to redo this ammo can stenciling project I would use a smaller stamp pad, larger letter and white paint, but overall I am happy as I can easily determine what is in my cans. If only ammo cans weren't so expensive now.
@DIECASTER I like that idea! I use post-it notes. they keep falling off

A bit extreme..I just use a white grease pencil after removing and cleaning letters with acetone.

I have either used a sharpie or made a stencil using printed letters/numbers and use them on poster board to make a more permanent stencil.

that's a pretty sick way of doing it. I'm, lazy and just cleaned mine off, used a printed stencil(used photo paper) and just used a razor to cut out the letters and sprayed it. Works fine, though this is probably a little more 'cool guy.' I dig it in a big way though! Keep up the good work sir!

Nice!!! When you have as many ammo cans as I do its easy to grab the wrong one. Its a good idea label them appropriately and this is a good way!
