@RMJ1984 this is a rebuild and in the original there wasn't any furnance

I remember this level vividly. Heck Wolfenstein 3D was the first game I ever played was just a toddler I think.

BEER AND SPIRITS.
cool map

If you used lapis lazuli for the walls it would be perfect. I know it would be extremely inefficient, so I understand why you used an abundant material like cobblestone.

@MissCatlady33 OCD isn't the key to minecraft awesomeness. It's autism.
-
That is pretty cool! I love when people recreate stuff like this in minecraft. If I had major skills or OCD or something I'd probably recreate dungeons from Wizardry.
-
I would love to see that. *_*

I remade Cornelia from Final Fantasy 1 in Minecraft. Seeing this makes me want to upload a video of it onto YouTube.

Edited, processed and upload. Have fun ^^

@betsycoates Yes. I just finished it today actually. Sadly I had to use SPC to finish the job but getting the 64x64 grid as all me. for 4 days trying to down grade the mountains. I just need freaken get Adoe Premiere working. I will say this. All items like barells the wells. I did not get that in cause its tricky. you were able to cause of the space you had.

So, I'm not the only one, who sometimes gets this clausthrophobic feeling in Minecraft which is caused by Wolfenstein 3D XD
-
For the walls you could of used lapis lazuli for some walls and stone as the ceiling and floor

This is what purgatory will be like. Where can I die?
-
See my children. Sure look pretty. And that's a bad sign.

Awesome! Pretty much all the textures of the levels could be replicated and you could use custom paintings as well. I've been waiting for someone to tackle this project and thought of doing it myself :) Excellent work!

just a heads up. im going to recreate the level as pin point possible. I have a 64x64 grid made. blue wool, wood. and all that. Its going to be fun. took a lot of work finding the blue dye though

You know 2x3 blocks aren't entirely unfaithful to the original design as the game is designed to render at 320x200 and stretch to 4:3, so walls are 25% taller than they are wide.

@tankermottind I love this sort of comment. Thanks; I'd really never noticed it in the original, but it does explain why the decision 'felt' right to me.
