  • 7 dislikes? idiots.

  • After recording all Medtners Sonatas, Scriabin Sonatas, Concertos by Busoni, Marx, Scharwenka, Rubinstein, Reger, Henselt,

Alkan's Concerto, symphony, Sonata, sonatina, Catoire, Kapustin, Dukas sonata, Sorabji sonata, 53 Godowsky studies, and Godowsky's Sonata and Passacaglia and many more very difficult pieces, he also found the time to compose his own magnificent set of Studies. And last but not least; He plays it all very beautiful and makes it sound easy. One of the best pianists ever!

  • @madlovba3 *listened to

  • @f1f1s The like-dislike ratio means nothing here. It's due to the uploader once wrote a critical comment on the Liszt HR2 performance of a Chinese chick, and thus her fans trolled through several MAH videos posted in those days, including this one, Etude No. 5, and tompilk's upload of Hamelin's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 in HQ. Non of them actually listen to the recordings I believe, they just hit on the dislike button to peeve Wolfymasta. Everybody else hit on the like one, evidently. That's all.

  • 21:7 like-dislike ratio? Lewd hawbucks! Stand in awe of MAH!

2011, December, 10-11. Moscow. At least heavens will have sent their delegate from Haydn, Schumann, Liszt, Fauré and Woplé to da freakin Rusha!

  • This is as exhausting to listen to as it is to play it.

  • @ReturnOfTheStienway I think Eriks Esenvalds makes incredible music, although I don't know how much he's composed for piano. (His choral music is out of this world!)

  • @ReturnOfTheStienway Fortunately, he doesn't "sneeze" often.
