CATHOLICABUSESURVIVORSNI----ca­rdinal sean brady knew of child raping priests and father brendan smyths long before 1975 as did most people in ireland. he is the the sole power in ireland who at the stroke of a pen can bring an end to the child abuse scandal he alone!! he knows that thousands of all the religious orders abused children since 1920 in n,ire and they kneel to him alone ,parish peoples dont, as the blackrock parish showed. the parish people have the power over him and he knows it.

As a paedophile, I really welcome the sympathy and understanding that the Irish Catholic Church has shown me. In a world where men like me are routinely demonized for wanting to have sex with children, the Roman Catholic Church has been a Godsend, if I may put it thus. Thank you Rome for your understanding, your humanity, and your protection. It is because of this that I realise that what I did to so many minors when I was a clerk in holy orders, is ultimately forgivable.
