I saw in a documentary about Gould that (in his own words) 'by the age of 10 years old he had the entire first book of the Well Tempered Clavier under his belt.' His mother played piano music to him while he was in the womb and started him on the piano practically as soon as he came out. He said he could read music before words.
Indeed a musical genius.

@jennyQchai Buhauhauhauhauha!!!

Genius of Gould is in his supernatural sense of every piece of music. He understood the same idea, the individual character of every one.

I find him really sexy in his youth.

Bach, Scarlatti, Berg, Schumann. God, I miss Glenn Gould. What a brilliant man. He burned too bright for too short a time.

Oh please. Gould's playing was always highly eccentric, to the point of being historically unfaithful, but it was at the same time full of life and fire and beauty, and profound musical expression. I would rather hear his wild interpretations any day than the same boring, "appropriate" playing we hear all the time from more conscientious pianists.
