Even though Sandy Bridge is cheaper and scores better than AMD for price vs performance...i will still buy AMD. AMD need to stay in the show, they need our help to stay in the picture. If it were just intel around they could charge whatever they want to.... someone said in another review that "People forget the days when Intel was charging $200 bucksfor a Celeron!" If you want $200 celerons back again... then keep supporting INTEL and let AMD fend for themselves...I will support AMD!!!

Now i have amd phenom II 955 and Crosshair III Formula Whit AMD 790FX

Never had ny problems Whit it ,it playes BF 3 @ on high settings whit 60+ Fps ....

dont need more speed that that !!

The problem here is its not good for everyday use. I've got FX-6100 at 4518mhz with 1.525 volts and at full load after 1 hour i've got 64 degree c(cooling with Noctua NH-D14). Guaranteed the second you run prime 95 your crash or lose 7 out of 8 of your cores. Cause the voltage isn't high enough and if you did turn in up you'd fry your chip right away. you must be pushing 80 degrees at 1.66 anyway. show that setup with a proper torture test and i'll be impressed!

Pretty lame..

You could of done 6 (for a cpu-z validation) if you lowered RAM multiplier and increased FSB with CPU multi at x17.

Would need to increase NB&HT voltages too, but its worth it.

@TheForgoten100 If you were intelligent enough to notice, the CPU usage spikes when he applies the bus speed increase, but, you are too blind and biased to care about what is going on, or to know that the same things happens with any other processor when a change is applied to vital systems.

@TheForgoten100 My FX-8120 never goes above 10% CPU usage unless I'm playing a game -.-

When cpu-z is open, its still only at 1%-2% usage... The highest it hits is 4% when cpu-z is opening.

This person was obviously running something other than cpu-z (that would be Turbo-Evo when he was changing the frequency. Of course it would cause things to spike up.)
