Sergei Rachmaninoff
Prelude in b minor, Op. 32, No. 10

SPEECH TRANSCRIPT
So my next piece will be a Rachmaninoff Prelude, in b minor, and it's his personal favo(u)rite. And sprinkled all over is this rhythm: [Plays rhythm], which was his favorite rhythm. It starts somberly, gets to an urgently pounding development, sinks to another somber part, and then flows right into a capricious cadenza, and then it goes right back into the beginning. This [piece] can be interpreted in a number of different ways, but I'll let you decide. So, are there any questions? OK. Well, then, enjoy Rachmaninoff Prelude in b minor.
