You can engage and redirect Congressional Actions.
Citizens and Organizations have supported Great policy ideas and made them succeed and get passed.
Yet other groups of citizens have halted dare I say it INSANE Legislation before congress. Sometimes citizens need only ReadtheBill to the staff in the Congress Members office to help them see the light!

I am a gay officer in the armed forces and I think the GOP, of which I have voted for in every election until 2004, needs to become a lot more open-minded and really embrace the freedom it claims to stand for.
I know this comment will not be published but I think it is high time that the GOP modernize for my generation. My conservative heroes include Meghan McCain, S.E. Cupp and Ronald Reagan. I feel the old guard of conservative iconoclasts do not speak to me or my generation.
