yep it is, game might have been planned for release on the ps1 and saturn at the time before the game development was restarted again.

@otacon98 Sega Saturn Port of original RE2 was cancelled because the WHOLE project was cancelled - this decision of scrapping Saturn RE2 port had nothing to do with the low sales of Saturn

Omg, unlike the second game that came out, you're actually fighting off hordes?

And it looks like they have somewhat of a morale system in there, where you can help others :3 which sounds awsome :D

Also they don't seem to hold back on the blood and guts, and the flesh being torn from your body sounds more appropriate for a bite
