Taking a page from the SEMA show, Suzuki said it will show off three customized Equator trucks at the upcoming 2009 Chicago Auto Show. To tease the curious, it issued an image of a modified Equator by Truckin' magazine.

The Truckin' Equator features "a massaged four-cylinder under the hood and a GSX-R sport bike in the bed," said Suzuki.

Two other customized Equator pickups from 4-Wheel & Off-Road and Off-road will also make their debut on February 11 in the Windy City.

The Equator made its first official appearance last year at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show. The Nissan Frontier-based Suzuki Equator gets a standard 152-horsepower 2.5-liter inline-4 engine or an optional 261-hp 4.0-liter V6.

really? i thought the back end is more chevy colorado and front end is like a tacoma, i think its a nice concept i love all trucks (exceot honda ridgleine its an embarassement to the truck community)

anyway i doubt theyll come with 22 inch wheels its too small for those big rims and im sure thatll kill some gas.. overall looks good(i wish theyd throw in a bike along with the purchase of a truck!)
