I'm 5'10 220 lbs freshman. I bench 225 squat 315 and my 40 is in 4.65...
I'm playing H which is pretty much runningback and tight end mixed together. All of you are missing the points, tight end is 90% blocking so if you don't like blocking then youll probably not going to enjoy it.

if anyone is interested in playing football specifically the tight end position for the collegiate level you should be around 6'1, and around 240lbs. a reasonable 40 time should be around a 4.75. if not, redshirt and work your ass off.
if you are a middle or high school student you mite want to consider tight end as a gateway position since you run routes. if you become consistent at catching in practice you could very well be moved to wr
tight end is the best position, no doubt.

id say it is the best position as well. u get to be a line man and go out for passes. tight ends r very hard to cover because they r so unpredictiblle and u dont no what their gonna do.
