About time he did something don't ya think? You could've have run through that hole last night for 88 yards. The huge problem with Best is he can't create when there is no hole. 90% of the time he averages 1.6 yards per carry.

@sergioalpert66 If anything I'd say he's not an every down back. He can't carry the load by himself and we might need another RB but I don't think it's much of an issue as of now, And No I highly doubt we take Mark Ingram. a RB isn't our concern at all. I personally feel he can have a break out year next season.

@bigern76 Best is just an upgrade to Derrick Williams. Just a guy to dump passes off to in the flat. He is a poor running back and has no ability to block for the quarterback. 90% of his carries went for 1.6 yards. Kevin Smith gets more yards per carry than Best. Lions shot up and taped up his toes before each game. Best is a 4th round talent...not a 1st. Ask Lions fans if they need a running back and they'll say heck yes we do. Hope not but Mark Ingram may be a Lions pick in the 1st.

What a bust Best has been. Can't make people miss. Can't help protect the quarterback. Too many drops. There are several reasons the Lions struggle year after year. Blowing top picks on busts is one of the big ones.
