Director Kim Jee Woon is now doing the new Schwarzenegger movie (scroll back through Arnie's twitter a month or two back and there's a pic of the two of them on the set). Lots of Asian directors tend to run into trouble when they work in the U.S., but if they leave Kim Je Woon alone to do his thing he should soon be taking over the world and getting his due recognition as probably the greatest director working anywhere at the moment.

My jaw dropped during the opening, this may have the most stunning opening of any film, I certainly can't think of any other contenders at present, with crazy music, a landscape out of a dream, soaring birds of prey and a great big steam train. The camera and hence the audience are everywhere, this side, that side above, below and even in the smoke from the engine.

this was the best intro of the year

really enjoyed this movie and it was this scene that told me I would. The bird of prey and train metaphor was what really did it.
