@Weissquell The German version was the same. The Australian tour that this was was also the Japanese version and went onto Germany after it toured Australia in May of 1988, they continued on using more or less the same show as opposed to the UK/US which were the country style version and changed dramatically over the years.
This is still the best overall version of the show - song wise imo.
The original UK version is ok too, but the redesigned versions were horrible IMO :(

this was the most disappointing version i ever saw of Starlight world wide- big circus tent
lots of songs were lip-sync the band was also mostly recorded!

Its a beautifull version of this song. Its the melodie of an older german version too. And the voice ist very great. I love it!

ich war mal in bochum als ich 7 war, also vor 13 jahren . es war richtig toll. ich kann mich an fast alles erinnern. ich will da bald auf jeden fall noch einmal hin. ich rate es allen familien, ihre kinder in so ein musical mitzunehmen.

I saw it in Germany Bochum on June 5th 2010 Amazing voices of all the stars, amazing job behind the scene, special effects.Great!!!! What a magical idea to contibute to the childhood memories and dreams.

Why is this version differnt to the uk version It's really weird because most of the words aren't in the uk one. I love the video though well done
