Surely all this proves is how stupid these men in the video are. Respect and the SWP are the only political parties which care about Muslims in this country.

Whether this is stupid or not I don't know. I certainly haven't voted for or been tempted to vote for the Respect project as its always looked like more "join the asylum" with its leaders becoming more like lunatics by the year.

I think we need something extra-parlimentary to affect real change. (Like I have read somewhere that Tony Benn used to say)

Not everyone does it - it's mainly those whose organisation are unable to provide placards with radical slogans for their members to carry. The SWP is brilliant at producing excellent placards with spot on slogans. This is a fact that many sectarians hate but I'm glad that you appreciate it Dave.
