Shortage of men? Dunno their country (the destorted speed-up sound din't allow me to understand where do they come from) but in most of the polygamous countries (like the Mid-East) there are actually more men than women!

@PolyPride3 Who banned polygamy? lol...Relax. I support polygamy where the man can take on the responsibility. I am a muslim and it is a part of my religion. I would not stop my future husband from doing it as long as he respects my rights and doesn't decrease the standard of living for my children and I so he can spend his income on another or just be lazy.

@PolyPride3 Nice try, but I am in my final year of college and just got admitted to medical school. However, my future husband will not depend on MY money. I want a man who is financially secure as well. Being educated doesn't mean you should marry a loser who will live off your hard work. Actually, educated women have higher standard b/c we want men on our level not broke irresponsible and lazy men who want to use you. No matter what I make , he still a man and has to work.

No, sex is not my motivation for polygamy. To be honest, I don't want or need polygamy but I just defend the rights of others to want to live it. I found that there can be good ways to practice it. I also find a lot of prejudice against it that are based on reasons that are FIXABLE for the most part rather than just BANNING it altogether.

If you want financial security, you better get your OWN education so you can pursure you OWN good paying career instead of relying on someone else. I am not looking for dating, but MARRIAGE with a financially secure man. And emotionally MATURE one. And no, I don't have sex b/c I don't believe in premarital relations. Why are you asking?
