  • Is this anything other than the Welcome to the Canteen track, played slowly on an LP that's been used as a table mat for the last 30 years?

...oh yes, what's the point of the lava lamps?!! If you really like this, buy the CD!

  • I would much rather hear it on record than CD anyday regardless of your table mat theory. Maybe you should buy a lava lamp to cheer you up. I have a few if you would like to borrow one. Thanks for listening.

  • Don't take the title too seriously! I'm sure your lava lamp collection is absolutely spiffing...

  • I actually just have these two, it's my record collection that is spiffing.

  • @mavishogsbottom A CD will never sound as good as the album, so go listen to your Lady Goofball or Ga Ga (whatever the Hell her name is) 'cause I think she's more your shallow style.

  • warren haynes covers this w/govt mule, he does a great job, on a great tune

  • ahh yes. tastiest wisest band ever. one of dave's most sensitive songs. i still cherish my old traffic album collection as much as ever. thank you utube for all the attempts to exhibit this fine band. winwood's carreer... wow. we're so lucky to get to share it

  • good find brother,,,thnx ~En~

  • This song saved my life so many times!

  • In what sense? Surely not the condition of the discs!! If you can drop me a less-public email I might be able to help you up-grade.

  • ...and I forgot to mention that this is Dave Mason, aided and abetted by Chris Wood on flute and Rebop on bongos or congas. Winwood and Capaldi don't get a look in.

It was a wonderful tour - two and a half hour show, so probably many more tracks 'in the can' somewhere.
