The NBA is the only team with the stupid "lottery system" of alloting picks.

I think its kind of fair. If not for this lottery system, you would see teams fighting for the LAST spot if they were confirmed no chance of a playoff berth. So, to prevent this, I think the NBA did a great job setting up the lottery.

maybe one or two teams would, but not most of them. They don't this in MLB, the NFL, Hockey, etc.

I agree that would be stupid if teams were allowed to just throw away their season to try and get the first pick.. im glad their is a lottery system

No, I want teams that are the worst to have the best opportunity to improve their team with the upcoming draft.

You act like Boston wasn't purposely trying to lose games to win the draft lottery 3 years ago. The draft lottery doesn't help teams "not to lose games" its just a retarded system designed to mitigate that excuse.

If you want to throw away a season, and in turn revenue and fans, then do it. Those fans can become fans of real teams.
