I've used it and it does work; however, as far as I understand, you have to submerge the item and let it soak. I don't think you can brush it on and rinse it off. It would take an awful lot to soak a car's intake manifold. I bought mine at Harbor Freight. The 1 gallon size was $29.99 but you can reuse it so it's gonna last and do the trick when you leave tools outside in the rain.

this stuff is awesome, worked on my cross drilled rotors. My tool set also looked like crap, after using this looks new again!

Stuff works great! I used it on some rusty chains and the rust was gone in 3 hours.
