Surfers Get Washed Into Ponce Inlet Jetty

On September 7,2008 5 surfers were washed into the rocks that form the North side of the Ponce Inlet Jetty.One surfer had to be carried off in a stretcher from the end of the Jetty walkway.The surfer suffered from lacerations on his knees.

Actually the guy who cut his knee's up,was trying to jump off the end of the jetty walkway.A rogue wave knocked him off the jump off spot.

@themightyrara Totally agree, those are the kind of surfers the Inlet doesn't need. Its like 3-4 ft and they just couldn't paddle out like everyone else did? Really doesn't matter if they would have made it out, they would be tasting my buckets I would be snapping off at 'em!!!!!!
