After 38 years Robert D. Nation announced the end of his remarkable career as head of the drama program at Cherry Hill High School East. His legacy includes spectacular productions that often rivaled anything on Broadway for their talent, elaborate productions and sold-out performances. In August 2008 his students and alumni came back for one final performance in his honor. Among the alumni were Broadway stars, TV and film personalities as well as those who left their theater memories in high school. This film was produced by Jeff Brody of Omni Video Creations (whose wife is an alum) and the music was written and performed by Lyle Fisher (who also graduated the program)

  • Love the video! I've known Bob for over 45 years and he is the REAL DEAL!

  • Such an awe inspiring video (like Bob himself!). We grew up together, summers @ Culver Lake, and the love, generosity and enthusiasm spread by Bob and his Mom, Francis, is what kept the lake community "family" ~ the glue that held us all together!! Always giving, always optomistic, always supportive and ALWAYS near a piano!! Forever in my heart! And like others in the video have said, what you taught me - then showed me by example - are chore values within life. Love from First Niter Connie

  • From the time back then in high school through this most amazing Reunion Tribute, these times define us and I truly find this incredible. This video captures all of that, though it can only touch upon the magical experience of that week. Thanks Jeff and Tammy, I love this video and Lyle, that is one hell of a song. Awesome is too small a word.

  • I am still getting goosebumps from that whole sweet, wonderful experience! To be able to go back and be on that stage with those people and celebrate that man and that time was a magical gift. Thank you for documenting it Jeff.

  • Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!

Fantastic time! -- What a profound experience that Tribute Show was!
