My kids worship McDonalds. Also, my son is as thin as a rail and my daughter is like the bottom 20 percentile of weight for her age. How evil is it that people are trying to strip away that little bit of fun they can have there. Disgusting. Its not up to a company to keep your kids healthy, its up to YOU.

I don't get people. "Dad I want McDonalds." Dad thinks to himself *She hasn't had McDonalds in a while.* He responds "sure honey." The next day, "dad can we get McDonalds again?" Dad says to daughter "No honey you just had it yesterday." Then the dad proceeds to explain why having fast food too much is unhealthy. What is so hard about that?

We shouldn't have landed in that fast food place in the first place! Now we can't let go and people are indeed eating empty calories with high amounts of sat fats and cholerol and being taught that hamburgers are healthy.

If parents weren't so lazy and actually cooked at home, junior wouldn't be obese, because he wouldn't be eating fast food. Let's put the blame where it belongs -- with parents who don't cook at home, who allow the kids to spend all day in front of the TV or the internet or videogames instead of kicking their butts outside to play and get some actual exercise.

Ronald McDonald existed when I was a kid back in the 70s, and kids weren't nearly as obese then as they are now. It's not the clown!

I eat at Subway and one of the things that bugs me with Subway is that it promotes itself as the healthy alternative to McDonalds and the rest and you can see food comparisons. To improve the numbers the Subway subs do not include cheese, but the McD's food does. Who gets a sub without cheese? Why not compare it against a cheese-free Big Mac? Why It was considered criminal for McD's to provide a Supersize *option* so why isn't it criminal for Subway to sell cookies & soda?
