The rebuild of my 1994 Pontiac Grand Am GT engine, sped version! 3.1 liter bored 30 over to 3.2 liters, Full rebuild.

@TheCharley1957 , I THANK YOU, I GOT 2002 3400, AND MY CAR IS 2003 MALIBU WITH 3100 IN IT, I GOT REMAN 3400 LONG BLOCK, THEY GAVE ME ALL ACCS TO THE UPPER AND LOWER INTAKES INJECTERS (EVERYTHING) I JUST DONT KNOW IF ITS GOING TO WORK , I NEED A LITTLE HELP

Dude sick if I was u I would mod the he'll out of the motor ^_^ and keep the body stock and make a complete sleeper LOL

whats the differance between 31&3400 motors, i have a dead 31 in 2003 malibu, and a fresh built 3400 longblock can i use 3100 intake ,what problems should i expect?

@TheCharley1957 I believe the intake manifold ports on a 3400 are bigger than the 3100 so it would choke the 3.4 block down that is if the ports even lined up. Gaskets probably wouldn't match up either.

Wow! This is amazingly sick! Got the same engine on my car and mine eats up oil and coolant... How much does it cost you to rebuild yours? Very good engine rebuild! 5 Stars!

@ebayer25 I believe it cost me around $1800 for the full rebuild. That includes a full rebuild kit: pistons, rings, bearings, oil pump, and gaskets. I also replaced the cam, all the roller lifters, timing chain and gears, and replaced all the valve springs. Machining done was bored 30 over, full valve job and heads decked. Pretty much wanted to keep the original engine and make it new. Also replaced all the sensors in it.

Nice. Looks complicated but a master piece. If possible can make a vid of the car with the new engine?

@dallen1993 I will make a video of the engine install and it running as soon as I get the car back from getting a new paint job. Keep checking for a video.
