Don't want to sound harsh because covering a Steely Dan song is no easy task, but in this video, the drummer was the weakest part of the song. Rest of the band sounds like they listened to the song before.

Agree. Beyond missing the second backbeat each measure (I'm all for creativity, but some things shouldn't be messd with), I feel this needs to be played a little more on top of the time.

Does the drummer own the P.A. system? That's what happened to a band I had in High School. Do what we did. Borrow some money from dad and cut him loose!! Break his left leg and his hi-hats first. Nice job otherwise I thought!

It's just a tape of an early practice. The drummer is among our most, if not the most, experienced and trained player.
