@edslides Yes, racing on flat track and speed ways, not to mention the suicidal board tracks and hill climbs.. Now put them on the road course? not so good, sure some minor successes in the early 70's.
Vintage bike porn. I remember a write up on the Egli Kawasaki from 20 years ago. Wheel stands from 130 to 160 mph in 3rd gear. The owner bought it in the States then moved to Germany so he could ride it properly. 230hp without the nitros. The nitros was kinda for show as 500hp was a bit much for the road!
OK, I accept you putting me in my place and I apologise. The problem with HD is the image of their riders, the gang members, many of whom are not simply misunderstood cool guys, but more like Mafia gangs. Sadly this is not just in the past, but here and now.
I remember very well Lance Weil and Cal Rayborn, talk about this side of HD and I am interested. I like motorcycles and will discuss any aspect, I am very keen on road racing, or any racing, especially the TT.
dont confuse the rebel element of h-ds past with the "amca" element. harley built bikes that did amazing things. ruinnin rigid frames.no brakes, no transmission. they are what they are. and same goes for brit stuff. the rivalry was and will always remain a friendly rivalry, justt like the rivalry between American bikes, and the brit v. brit.

What bikes have you had Crackberry?
And why do you have to be so repulsive in your comments. Do you have to swear to demonstrate your limited vocabulary?
