A popular knife among enthusiasts who happen to value...well, value.

The Kershaw Skyline is a drop-point blade that employs Sandvik 14C28N steel. The blade has a hollow grind which ultimately terminates with a typical v-edge. Other specs:

-- Blade Length: 3-1/8"
-- Overall Length: 7-3/8"
-- Weight: 2.495oz. (what mine weighed... Kershaw claim is 2.3oz.)
-- Stone-washed finish
-- G-10 scales
-- liner lock
-- tip-up & tip-down carry options (right hand only)

Overall impression: Excellent, lightweight, light-duty EDC option. Ranks as one of my favorite folders to date.

Music by James Dooley

  • how do you clean you knife after the food prep?

  • @gilliesniper99

Immediately afterwards...Water, mild soap and finally coat it with a light layer of mineral oil.

  • @elpidi0526

btw, wash off the soap (or dishwashing liquid), of course. ;)

  • What's with the subliminal message at 5:15?

  • @TheDailyToker916

One of my three failed attempts in securing a suitable thumbnail snapshot for the video. (You might have noticed the same thing at 2:36 and 7:51.) The claim is that what you see at the 1/4-, 1/2-, and 3/4-marks of the video are captured for your available thumbnails to illustrate the video.

Alas, it didn't work... and I was too lazy to re-edit the pic into new times within the timeline to rectify the issue.

Forgive me if you found it distracting. And nice eye, btw. :)

  • dude its a good knife but that was a cool belt(;

  • @vogelbe02

    haha!!

That, my friend, was the dilapidated and tattered remains of a 20-something-year-old powerlifting belt. (My father used them a lot for lower back support in the 80's & 90's.) I was able to salvage the scraps of a few of them and ended up making strops out of them... and using them for stuff like this.
