ramachandran is wrong in one these... for the guy at the end, the difference isnt between "seeing and knowing".. its not.. its "knowing and naming". i bet you the guy knows the feeling and personality of rhinos the same way any other person does, he just cant put a label on it... hence the phrase "i know it but i cant name it". so its not a difference between seeing and knowing, but between knowing and naming.

@mrpossibilities Interesting point, but he did accept the name giraffe when he read it, so not naming things may involve seeing and recalling and saying what things as recalled with sight. Remember later they will show with man Capgras' delusion and sometimes they can recognize people by voice, but not when they look at them.
