Ah, but the gingerbread smell IS only available this year. All previous years you are unable to smell the gingerbread from the ride side of the Plexiglas :-) It's my kids' favorite ride during this time of the year so we ride it quite of few times each year and this is the first year the smell is very apparent.

The gingerbread house smelt great the first and second day. I'm not sure how it smelt the next day.

LOL... it smelled really good on the third day as well. I personally really like the addition of the gingerbread smell this year, a very nice touch. My kids had noticed it before we even got into that room and zoomed in on the change to the gingerbread man in the gingerbread coffin from last year's gingerbread house.

They change the gingerbread house design every year . This one with the gingerbread coffin was my favorite ( think it was 3 years ago. I go every Thanksgiving and this ride puts me in the Christmas spirit)

@TheMagicForLess Is the smell from a machine like artificial, or actually coming from the real gingerbread house? because if its coming from the actual house, wouldn't the smell deteriorate over time? How do they maintain it?

I am making a petition on facebook to put haunted mansion holiday in florida, join disney mega manis group to join the war of all or none or just dsign away, go to the discussion board and say what you think if they should and explian, if you don't or do have a facebook account, just please tell your friends about it and spread the word, this is just a petition.

What I know of is Disneyworld was planning on it, but they dicide to forgett it and it was placed in tokyo disneyland
