Freedom won't come to Saudi Arabia until Saudis, both male and female, have freed themselves mentally from from the straightjacket of religious dogma. The best thing that all Saudis could do is to study as much liberation literature from outside the Islamic world as possible. The Enlightenment writings of people such as Voltaire and Rousseau, perhaps also Thomas Jefferson, would be a very good place to start.

i am a saudi women suffering from those stupid rules. i mean even if u r 40 a 19 year old male can be your guardian. this is not easy at all. i tried to have my masters but my husband disagreed. because he still doing his bachelors degree and i cant possibly be better educated. he insets that even if i had my masters i cannot get a job. this is not easy
