Paramount should bring back the "Paramount on Parade" fanfare (in its original form, of course) for its 100th anniversary.

I have an mp3 of a disc with the soundtrack of the beginning of "Paramount on Parade," a montage of different performers, a chorus line, costumers, set builders, etc., in which this is played as a march, a waltz, a Gershwinesque jazzy tune, etc. I think the film exists.
Incidentally, PoP is the lovely waltz played over the end credits of "Sunset Boulevard."

Whenever I hear this I am reminded of the Oakland (CA) Paramount Theatre where Jim Riggs (house organist) plays this on the big pipe organ. Thanks for the wonderful videos!
Dear Mr.Minton, I saw a Youtube video of a film called "Hollywood on Parade"& the title song sounds a lot like" Paramount On Parade",even the lyrics are similar.Did Elsie Janis & Jack King write that, too?

I know the song of which you speak, but do not know who wrote it.
