Stop arguing about who's better I like disturbed, slipknot, Samael, Anthrax etc etc because they are all different now shut the fuck and enjoy the music p.s black sabbath, Metallica, anthrax, slayer and Samael etc, has had the biggest influence on metal

Samael has so many powerful songs that I wonder when they will do a video that actually matches the song? I would love to see a decent video for The Cross or Quasar waves for example... too late I guess but they still can do Soul Invictus...

@GoldPheer just cuz they are successful doesn't mean they are talented. there is a thing called trends you know Disturbed, Godsmack same thing it's a trend that will die and now that dubstep is starting to take recognition they will be old news and not liked as much you'll see..

@9chaos1forever1 Samael are damn straight putted amongst the pioneers of black metal history. They came beofre everyone's so loved Dimmu Borgir. Ofcourse they changed now to industrial through the ages, just like wine does from grape juice :)

Reading comments and I have to say its all about the art. Samael are true artists. I rank them up there with greats like Glenn Danzig who stay true to their fans and to themselves because they are not concerned about winning awards. They evolve to satisfy their own artistic needs without pandering to the wannabes like Metallica did. To quote Danzig "you must stay true to your fans, but you have to stay true to yourself as an artist too.". I think Samael definitly falls into that category.
